1. Use of the website

You may use this website to learn about MeterSight, request trials, quotes and support, and access materials we make available. You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, scraping content at scale, submitting false information, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

2. Trials, quotes and orders

Trial licenses, quotes and orders are subject to the MeterSight EULA and to the terms of the applicable order or reseller agreement. Information on this website describing packages and features is a summary; the EULA and your order control. Trial licenses are typically valid for 7 days and are issued at our discretion.

3. Product information and accuracy

We work hard to keep feature descriptions, supported-meter lists and technical statements accurate for current releases. Software changes over time and meter firmware varies; statements such as "lab validation recommended" mean exactly that. Estimated costs shown in MeterSight reports are estimates based on rates you enter and are not utility invoices. ITIC/CBEMA classification is a reference and not an equipment compliance certification. Graphics display measured values and do not indicate or control the state of electrical equipment.

4. Safety

MeterSight is a monitoring product. It does not control electrical equipment and must not be relied upon as a protective, safety or life-safety system. Decisions affecting the safety of people or equipment must be made using appropriate protective devices, engineering judgment and qualified personnel.

5. Intellectual property

The MeterSight name, logo, software, documentation and the content of this website are owned by Wasatch Automation, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from site content except as permitted by law or with our written consent. Third-party product names (for example Schneider Electric, PowerLogic, ION, SEL, Socomec, DIRIS, Powerside, PQube) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify compatible equipment; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

6. Third-party links and services

The site may link to third-party sites and uses third-party services such as hosting and fonts. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Warranties for the software, if any, are set out exclusively in the EULA.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wasatch Automation, LLC and its members, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of this website. Our total liability for claims relating to the website will not exceed one hundred US dollars. Liability relating to the software is governed by the EULA.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the website.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Utah have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to this website, except where the EULA provides a different dispute-resolution mechanism for matters concerning the software.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new date. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the revised terms.
