MeterSight reads any Modbus TCP device with a register map, ships verified presets for the most common power meters, and adds automatic COMTRADE waveform retrieval in Gold. Every access is read-only.

Modbus TCP presets
Presets cover currents, voltages, power, power factor, frequency, signed 64-bit cumulative energy, disturbance counters and THD where the meter provides them. Only registers documented as read-only are included.

Serial meters
Meters on RS-485?
MeterSight polls Modbus TCP. Meters on RS-485 Modbus RTU reach MeterSight through a standard Modbus TCP-to-RTU gateway, which presents each serial device as a unit ID behind one IP address. Most switchgear vendors ship one; we can recommend models that we have commissioned.
